Sampled @ Craft Clerkenwell. Clear amber-ish color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, quite bitter, pretty hoppy, rather dry finish. Decent body, firm carbonation.

On tap at Craft Clerkenwell. Clear mid brown colour. A decent alt. Some malt. Over carbonated. A bit harsh. Some decent malt base. Just a bit harsh. Decent malt some hop. Over carbonated. Nutty malt. Ok.

Tap. Bath Hotel, Sheffield. Clear, amber colour. Streams of bubbles make for a dense, lasting, creamy white head. Nose has fruity malts. Light spice. Quite grassy. Some flora. Taste is grainy sweet. Has a spicy dryness. Moderate hop bitterness. Foamy, massaging mouthfeel. A bit much on the fizz. Sweet finish. Minimal bitterness. Not sure I get the concept of a hopped up Altbier. I do know nowt, though.

Keg at the Tilt Brum; clear copper pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has robust malt and a hint of citrus, taste has smooth malts, some crisp citrus, nice.
