0,5 bottle. Unmarked cap, really small-scale appearance, which means nothing. The color is pale, there is not much foam, but I wouldn't call it ugly. Aroma: equal parts hops and malt, not bad on the nose, nothing disturbing, rather interesting, sweetish, chewing gum. I didn't feel the body corresponding to 5.8%. It's not exactly watery. Sour base taste, little carbonation. The whole beer was sour, unfortunately. It wasn't spoiled, but somehow I don't think it turned out well. I expected more heartwarming flavors than this. It's okay for a simple Marzen, but not because it's sour!

Aroma: egyenlő arányban komló, és maláta, illatra nem rossz, zavaró dolog semmi, inkább érdekes, édeskés, rágógumis. Az 5,8 %-nak megfelelő testet nem éreztem. Vizesnek éppen nem vizes. Savanykás alapíz, kevés szénsav. Az egész sör savanyú volt sajnos. Nem volt romlott, de valahogy ez nem sikerült jól szerintem. Én ennél szívmelengetőbb ízekre számítottam. Egy egyszerű Marzen-nek elmegy, de azért nem, mert savanyú!

Bottle online from Beersofeurope. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin throthy white head. Aromas of sweet grains, hay and doughy bread. Taste is malty with the same notes from the aroma with a little peppery spice on the finish. Medium to full body, low carbonation and very smooth oily mouthfeel. its ok.

500ml bottle: BB 11th Sep 2021. Drank at home on 27th Dec 2020. Love the front label of the bottle, so a good start! Pours a clean and clear bright golden body, fast fading white head. Grainy nose and semi-sweet grainy/malty taste, too sweet for some maybe, I prefer these sort of Winter brews. A bit 'one dimensional' but I enjoyed it.

Picked this up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Sunday 17th November 2019 whilst listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch, cooking Goulash, Bread Dumplings, Potato Gratin and Brussels. Pours warm gold with a white head, a little fruity on the finish but the taste is predominantly malt driven. A little bit of bitterness around the edges, a touch of alcohol noted. Fine

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Schäff-Bräu Altmühltaler Winterbier ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, light grain. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, rich malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180219] 6-3-6-3-12

Bouteille: Golden and clear, rapidly collapsing loose white head; sweetish grainy-dusty nose, molecular traces of hops detectable, even hints of alcohol; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and presumably a bit sticky; short grainy and fruity finish with a low bitterness in the aftertaste. Not great, but surely not undrinkable...

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and frothy mid-sized head. Doughy pale malty nose, slightly sulfuric with shades of grassy hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Malt-accented taste with notes of dough, cardboard and shades of caramel; moderately sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish. 24.XII.16
