Our LPA was the first release in our keg range and is borne from a fusion of an English Pale Ale recipe and a German Lagering technique known as Krausening. This produces a pale ale with a long, crisp finish with similarities to a lager in style and flavour.

Key at Spoons, Victoria Station. Just said Pale Ale - presume it's the same but will check. Light citrus aroma. An almost yeasty element to it. Hazy gold. Creamy white head. Medium bitter. Sharp citrus. A hint of quinine. Thin. Light. Average carbonation at first, although it becomes more noticeable as I drink more. Dry finish. Decent enough. Crisp but somewhat one dimensional. The carbonation takes over.

Keg at the Hoop & Toy, South Kensington. A pale straw colour, quie highly carbonated but with little head; grainy taste with a grassy bitterness. Clean and refreshing, but lacking any real character.

Keg tap at the Grove, Ealing. Golden, hazy. Very little white head on top. Very little aroma, only some sweetish citrus and some hay. Taste is bittersweet, raw and grainy. Long finish with an unpleasant acrid aftertaste. Not great.
