Appearance’s a hazy, dull amber with a very short lived head and no lace. Aroma’s not bad with traditional banana/ clove characteristics. Flavor’s like nose, though a bit shallow. Body’s on the thin side. Ok beer, but not my fav Pearl Street.

Gold color. A little cloudy. Lightly sweet. Typical hefeweizen flavors, banana and clove, but the palate is too thin and the flavors are too light, almost like a kristalweizen.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown squat bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with very small white head. Aroma is grainy, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grainy, with of flavors, and hints of banana. Not interested in trying again.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered cloudy orange. No real head, thin oily residue. Sweet orange-clove aroma. Medium bodied, doughy malt backbone. Zesty citrus lemon-banana clove flavor. Enjoyable, but not really on the level of classic Bavarian examples. A nice citrus bite, smooth sweet finish. Well balanced.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium creamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is classic Hefe - wheat, banana, lemon. Flavor is the same, with banana notes more prominent than in the aroma. Lighlty sweet, light bodied and refreshing. I cannot understand why this beer is getting such low ratings.
