Draught @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, 6 Charlwood Street, Pimlico, Greater London, England SW1V 2EE. [ As Black Iris Dark Angel ].Light unclear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, dark fruit, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, wood, licorice. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, licorice, wood, dark malt, moderate roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160808] 7-4-7-3-14

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Beer Festival 2016. Extremely dark brown with a thin head. Has a crispness with a slightly rugged but palatable roasted malt taste. There’s more of a mild sweetness in its nose.

Tap @ CBC Covent Garden, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of some roast, bit coffee, blackcurrant, dark fruit, bit biscuity malts. Soft bitterness in taste. Ok stuff.

Keg at the Euston Tap, 23/08/16. Light black with a decent beige cap. Nose is light charr, peppery spice, earthy red berries, sweet malts, cocoa nibs. Taste comprises Ribena berries, light charr, pine needle, bubblegum, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking CDA.

Cask. Trübes dunkel orange braunes Bier mit mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach dunklem Malz, sehr hopfig, erdig. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, Karamell, mild schokoladig, okay.

Tap @ Cask Pub & Kitchen. Opaque very dark brown color, medium to full sized creamy, long lasting beige head. Aroma is malts, dark malts. Taste malts, dark malts, pleasantly hoppy, decent bitterness. Medium body, average to medium carbonation.

Tap at Craft, Islington, 25th July 16. Pours black, aroma is hoppy, citrus, dark chocolate, cocoa. Taste is bitter, citrus, cocoa. Pretty hoppy session black IPA. Nice
