Howler style.
It pours a clear gold, smallish and short lived head of foam.
The smell has citrus, pepper, an overall spicy soaked aroma which also includes a bit of clove and funk and light pitted fruits.
The taste is peppery with lots of citrus that imparts some fruity bitterness. Cloves are there, light pitted fruits, some funky notes.
Slick mouthfeel and an easy drinking Saison, this is nice.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where there’s an opaque paper gold sort of body that supports a thin bright white head. The aroma is nice and yeasty and then it moves into spicy yeast notes mixed with malty esters that seem a tad banana like. The taste delivers big yeasty spice notes that get into some wheat malts and a pleasing grainy breadiness. I like this blend of flavors as it also has an edge of crispness and a pleasing balance.

Capped 2014 750 from the brewpub. Pours hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/earthy, even seems to hint at bretty. Med body or so. Flavor seems a little orange, goes for brett, then goes to a very nice fruity finish polished by some earthy/brett flavor. Very well done.
