0,5 l bottle from Kvickly, Varde. Nearly black in the glass with an huge and steady three finger frothy beige head. Fruity choco buttermilk aroma. Taste starts malty with some smoke, also berry or plum fruity sweetness. Very low to no carbonation. Little bit sticky to the end.

Bottle. Pours opaque reddish dark brown with medium white head. Aroma is peat, malt, plums, iron, bearing grease, caramel and hints of vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with caramel, peat, iron and dried fruit.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Warwik Flindt ].Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, smoke, sweet malt. Initial flavor is moderate sweet, finish flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, toffee, chocolate, smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180212] 5-3-5-3-11

Bottle @ Fairbar. Very dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, bread, smoke and meat. Flavour is malt, caramel, smoke, bonfire, medium sweet, meat and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Fairbar. Pours very dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, wood, little wood, little sour, some light cheesy notes. Flavor is light sour, malt, yeast, caramel, wood, cheese, wet socks. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, light sour finish. 021117

Bottled. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is smoke, wood, mild roasted notes as well as some slight nuttiness. Flavour is nutty, fruity, some smoked and toasted notes as well as mild coffee.

Bottle at ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting. Oddish yeast, some rubber and fruit. Strawberry, jammy, oddish Belgian strawberry beer.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Hazy amber beer, light tan head. Crisp dry palate. Some slightly sour fruit. Dry finish and some tropical fruits coming to the fore. Not bad!
