75cl bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - black and mat with a creamy off white head. Nose - milk chocolate, earthy, caramel and dry wood. Taste - creamy chocolate, booze, wood, prunes and blackberries. Palate - medium to full bodied. Boozy and dry, woody finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but a lot going on and very worth struggling with the gnarly edges.

Bottle from the Thirst Class Brewery Webshop. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is liquorice toffee, cola, dark fruits. Taste is dark fruits, whisper of chocolate, bourbon. Boozy sweet. Tries too much to impress. Could've & should've been so much better.

Port barrel flavours dominant, but roasty stout comes through in the finish. Pairs well with some cheese and crackers.

Bottle. Nose is chocolate, hint of vanilla, latte, milk chocolate, light chewy caramel, very light port barrel - i really had to hunt for it. Taste is chocolate, caramel, vanilla ice cream, leading to a dry vinous strongly port finish. The port aging has a very interesting effect, I can't find it in the nose particularly and it's present really only in the finish where it is very pronounced. I can't think of another beer where it barrel aging has created this effect. Good.
