Manchester Beer Festival 2018. Hazed brown with a mix of sweet and roasted malts in both aroma and taste. All very mild tasting as expected!

ABV: 4.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted - toasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180126]

Cask at the Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, 2018. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose of coffee, smoke, dark chocolate, liquorice. Flavours of coffee, light toffee, licorice. Quite a smooth number. Classic mild taste. Very good.
