After about a year, I was finally able to get confirmation from two sources that this was the beer I had. Draft pour pint at the Hop and Hound on 9/30/2014. From my notes. Pours a nice bright orange color with infinite head and lacing. Really thick body, creamy with a huge citrus flavor. Fresh hop filled flavor throughout with a low bitter grapefruit finish. Glad I finally figured this one out, it kinda bothered me for the longest time. Overall, I loved the beer, Almanac needs to keep doing what they are doing. And also, release beers like this again.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Pine aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Pine and grapefruit linger with backing malt.

On tap at Gourmet Haus. Moderate grapefruit aroma subsides quickly. Slight malt background. Pours a somewhat hazy honey orange with full white head. Restrained orange hop flavor with cracker malt back. Aggressive bitterness dominates too much.

Tap. Pours clear butterscotch golden with a mum creamy white head that dissipates with great lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, Passionfruit, cat piss. Flavor is about the same, very light sweetness, strong bitterness, a bit of a spruce finish. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Quite nice, a little too bitter perhaps?

Tap at Sacramento Beerfest 2013. Pours hazy gold with a beige head. Citrus aroma. Near full bodied. Quite malty with a good dose of citrus hop. Different.
