Cask gravity at New Inn Canterbury. Dark clear cola colour. Lasting tan head. Some milky slightly sweet stout. Decent condition. Some cocoa flavour. Some molasses or liquorice flavour some milk. I prefer a drier stout. Some chocolate. Some dryness towards the end.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dark nutty grains, bruised apple, raisin loaf, light char, trail mix. Paalte is semi sweet, rounded, little thin, moderate carbonation. Good. Lingering mellow roast.

Half-pint, 4.1 % abv, draught at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Dotted spots on the glass from a stable beige head, deep dark brownish body. Plain roasted malty aromas, smooth. Dark malt-driven flavours of soot, dark chocolate, and bread. Smooth, roasted grainy nose. Just alright, a bit thin on the palate. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).

Dark brown, near black, with a creamy off-white head and soft dark fruit on the nose. Velvety smooth, some roasted malt and a hint of dark fruit with a long dry, slightly bitter finish
