22 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark amber orange with medium off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nut, big caramel malts, and resinous hops. Flavour brings out shitloads of syrupy sweet caramel malts that seem extremely cloying at first, but then are balanced out a big wallop of resinous hops. Super viscous on the palate - perhaps the thickest IIPA I've encountered. The sweetness is quite dominating, which isn't my thing, but for what it is, it's not too bad in small doses. Tastes more like a hoppy barley wine. Surely not as bad as the average ratings suggest.

Deep hazy copper coloured body with a deep brown colour up top with a golden colour at hte bottom - neat, all with a nice, thick, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of yeast, bread, a bit of grapefruity hops and a lot of alcohol and malt. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong assertive medicinal and metallic flavours at first with a ton of alcohol, a lot of malt and a resiny sweetness and deep hoppiness. Aftertaste is super potent with the malt, alcohol and metallic bitterness really shining through and almost nothing else. Overall, a pungent, potent and deeply warming imperial ipa - not great and not really worth searching out for, even for this ridiculously low price (for the style/size). I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Super Jr. Market (BestDamnBeerShop) in San Diego, California on 06-May-2012 for US$4.99 sampled at home in Washington on 26-August-2012.

22oz bomber pours clear deep copper with nice full tan head. The aroma is interesting. It seems like a sugary syrup covered plank of cedar wood and then it picks up resiny sort of hops, apricot skin, cherry meat and sort of cantaloupe. OK, I’m trying to get my head around the flavor. It’s resiny, it’s pretty darn sweet and big and fruity with dark fruity esters. This thing is all over the place but keeps it together to a certain degree. There’s pine hops, grassy notes, soapy wood, sugary sweetness, cherries, plums, red apples and pale molasses. This is bold rich and a somewhat disjointed sipper of a beer.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours clear copper with a creamy near beige head. Aromas of cooked malt, floral/tropical fruit and citrus. Med + body. Flavor is distinctly caramel, but there’s a lot of hop - mostly floral/fruit. More refined than harsh. Finishes very hoppy, but moderately bitter. Very tasty. Heat? I didn’t notice.
