Tap at Brewdog Oxford. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Toasted malts, hazelnut, vanilla in the nose. Medium-bodied Roasted malty with bitter finish. Flavour is more straightforward imperial stout when aroma was pastry stout like. Some vanilla.

Keg draught at BrewDog Leiceater. Dark cloudy brown, opaque with a small khaki head. Massive vanilla aroma, gooey caramel, molasses and a touch of leather in the aroma. Bitter taste with leather and nicotine character. Finishes bitter with suggestions of caramel among the more intense flavours... can you taste tyre rubber? 5hick body with little carbonation. An intense experience. Almost too intense.

Black pour with a red taint; aromas of cokkie dough, butterscotch, dried fruit, some butter. Tastes of roasted malts, dried fruit, oranges, cocoa. Very decent.

Keg at BD Soho, 20/10/22. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is tangy dried fruit rinds, cocoa powder, charr, mellow roast, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, raisins, chocolate, spice, roast malts, molasses, toffee, dates. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Decent.

Tap at Brewdog shepherds Bush collabfest 2022. A dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of mid tan head. Aroma is harsh roast, earthy, charred roast, burnt chocolate, hazelnut. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, bitter harsh dark chocolate, rich cake, charred wood, ashy roast. Harsh palate is semi sweet, oily mellow carbonation, harsh bitter finish.
