Baltic porter is a separate beer style, which is created in the performance of TEIKA by connecting especially expressive six different malts. Fermented classically, using lower fermenting lager yeast to get an absolutely pure, delicate flavor. Also, beer after active fermentation matured and aged at low temperatures (lagers) for two months. The taste of beer is dominated by a multi-layered bouquet of malt flavors, coffee, chocolate, plums, light sweetness. Will go perfectly with a chocolate cake. This is the most known beer representative that originated in the Baltics.

Tap @ Kakis Maisa, Riga. Hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and a little bitter.

Tap @ Kakis Maisā, Riga. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 100724

On tap at Kakis Maisa, Riga on 13th June 2024. Dark brown with tan non-lacing foam. Malty aroma. Rich and intense roastiness in-mouth, with nuttiness. Chocolaty coffee roast malt finish. Medium bodied with an engaging texture.

Tap filled to bottle. Smell-weak, malt, roast, cofee. Foam- thin, roast, coffee, faint plums. Head is quite small, and light brown in color. Appearance- Cloudy dark brown color, quite close to black, but not yet. From - pint Taste - malty, weka roast, weak plums, some sweetness after. Plums and malt in the aftertaste with faint sweetness again. Quite nice actually.
