Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th April 2024. Deep sepia with pale tan foam and spot lacing. Coffee roast malt aroma. Roastiness in-mouth and a pleasant toasty malt finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at The Gryphon, Bristol. Pours near black with beige foam. Aroma: light chocolate, dark fruits, nuts. Taste: light sweet & bitter. Light body with soft carbonation. Fairly decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 14/3/2024. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some chocolate, hint of dark fruit and gentle malty finish. Good.
