Belta means exceptional in Geordie slang. Belta Blonde is a session ale with a harmonious and subtle blend of sweet citrus, tantalising passion fruit, hints of honey, and a light malt character. This refreshing brew offers a flavourful escape with its zesty notes, tropical allure, and a crisp bitter backdrop.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a loose white head; herbal hop aroma; lip smacking, full of resinous green hops with a sweet grainy body; then a gentle, lengthy herbal bitterness with a touch of yeast. An English blonde that looks good and tastes good.

18/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy straw gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, grains, oats, grass, husky fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Drying biscuit finish. One that grew on me.
