Draft at The Crown, Hastings. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, somewhat light, mineral, earthy, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A rather simple beer.

Keg at the 39 Steps, Broadstairs, 13/05/23. Clear golden with a decent lasting white cap ... full glass lacing ensues, rather unusual for a keg. Nose is orange peel, airy malts, grass, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises orange zest, citric tinged straw, mineral bite, toasted grains, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. It's okay if a touch muted and lacking hop presence.
