Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy dark copper with a medium sized foamy off-white head. Some malts and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet and decidedly watery. Not much flavour to be found anywhere. Some slight hoppiness later on but thatโs about it. Very disappointing.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 15th September 2023. Reddish copper with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Leafy hops and caramel malt aroma. Exquisite bitterness in-mouth and a leafy, bitter finish that builds with each sip. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.
