Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy dark copper with a small off-white head. The aroma has malts and ginger biscuits. In the mouth it is hoppy and bitter with some underlying sweetness. Flavour of caramel and dried fruit initially. A little ginger too at first, but this grows to be the dominant flavour leading to a spicy and slightly dry finish. Overall this is a decent strong bitter.
