Panda at home, thanks to Fergoose, 28/02/22. Deep mahogany brown with a good sized off white crown of bubbles. Nose is brown bread, cocoa powder, dried fruits, earthy. Taste comprises biscuit, tobacco, brown bread, cocoa sprinkle, dates, stewed fruits, toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome brown.

Cask at The Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London. A dark ruby/brown coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Malty, caramel, fruity aroma and taste. Quite thin and very different to the usual Cloudwater offerings but it's fine.

Mini cask at home , picked up from CW online. A clear dark nutty brown coloured pour with a lasting loose beige head that sticks around. Aroma is nutty malts, digestive biscuits, salt, rye bread, light caramel. Flavour is composed of savoury malts, nutty, brown bread, pinmch of salt, digestive biscuit, caramel square. Palate is semi sweet, smooth, mellow carbonation. Solid malty beverage. Nice lingering powdered chocolate.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 11th February 2022. Deep sepia with tan foam. Roasty malt aroma with coffee and chocolate. Mocha blend in-mouth, with bitter chocolate and sweeter roast malt. A long roasty finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Mini keg at home from CW online. Pours dark brown red with an off white head that fades. Aroma is caramel malt, yeasty bread, grassy hop, bit of coffee and roast malt. Taste is caramel malt, brown sugar, treacle, coffee, roast malt, bread, grassy hop. Good clean malty brown ale. Solid stuff
