Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 1, 2024. Aroma is hop forward and rather dank with lots of oily resin notes. Grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit and pine as well. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes. Pours a slightly hazy, straw color with a medium large, moderately thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to clumps that longer on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong hop notes of grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit and dank, oily, resin notes that linger in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast DIPA with a really dank hop profile that lingers in the finish with a bit of a bite. Bitterness lingers as well. Malt profile is light and not overly sweet. Alcohol is well hidden.
