Deep dark and super muddied brown, ruby coloured body with a perfect, single centimetre tall perfectly smooth off-white and tan head that fades slowly on the sides, with a great deal of beautiful nitrogen throughout. Aroma of still, pretty strong roasted malt, icing sugar, chocolate, earth, grain and some pungent lactose here. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich lactose and grainy notes dominate with a light rustic earthiness and some subdued raisin and chocolate note notes with some cream and icing sugar with a good sweetness on the end and the great texture of the lactose. Aftertaste is rich, full of pungency and showing a lot of sugars with the lactose, raisins, nuts and coffee here with a creamy and very smooth nitrogen finish. Overall, a very nice beer and great to sample while here at the brewery with a good kick of earth, nuts, chocolate and icing sugar, while still having some complexity and a good smooth finish from the nitrogen. I sampled this twelve ounce pour on draught at the brewery here in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii while on Spring Break 2022 with my wife and three kids on 14-April-2022, for US$7,00.
