3/11/2021. Bottle from SPAR, Hope, Derbyshire. Pours clear deep amber bronze with a creamy/frothy off white head. Nice looking pour. Aroma of toffee, malt, liquorice, bread, brown sugar, nutty earthy notes. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Flavoursome, warming winter ale on a cold and rainy November night. Enjoyed this.

Bottle from Bradwell Village Shop. Appearance - red, orange, brown. A thin head. Nose - treacle, tobacco, cereal. Taste - more cereal and chewy treacle. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long and fairly gnarly finish but it kept me coming back for more. Overall - more like an English Strong Ale in style.
