6.8/10 β€” Appearance 10 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 8 Overall 6
Poured from a 12 oz bottle with a best by date of 08/2016. Aroma has a grain forward character with some moderate cracker malt and grain notes. Some light honey notes. Moderate citrus notes with tangerine and mandarin. Pours a hazy, dull golden orange with a medium sized, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers thicker on the edges. Flavor has a light sweetness with some cracker and grain notes. A touch of honey and a bit of cereal. Medium bitterness. Medium light hop notes with orange, mandarin and tangerine. A light tropical fruit note. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and slightly watery a with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. Hops are pretty mellow though and the malt character seems a bit off with the honey note.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Steady, foamy white head. A pretty respectable Session IPA. I like the fact that it is 4% too, I don’t really want a session anything approaching 5%. There isn’t much defined new school hop tone or anything like that, this is pretty straight up. OK.

On tap at Muddy Waters. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass with some citrus and a good amount of light grain. Flavor has grass, light pine and light citrus with a grain backbone.

Bottle. Nothing here we have not seen before. Gold color, not much head on this beer. Mild, grassy hops. Flavor has a lot of bread/cracker flavor, and the hops are again dry grass and dry on the palate. Not a bad beer, but not exciting in any way either.
