Poured from a 12 oz bottle with a best by date of 08/2016. Aroma has a grain forward character with some moderate cracker malt and grain notes. Some light honey and caramel notes. Moderate citrus notes with tangerine and mandarin. Some lighter resin. Pours a hazy, dull copper orange with a medium sized, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers thicker on the edges. Flavor has a light sweetness with some cracker and grain notes. A touch of honey. Medium bitterness. Medium light hop notes with orange, mandarin and tangerine. A light stone fruit note. Hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. Hops are pretty mellow though and the malt character seems a bit strong. A touch of a weird metallic finish.

Bottle. Bright gold color, head that fades quickly but leaves a lacing on the glass. Big citrus-hop aroma. Flavor is bitter, but has grapefruit and some orange. Fresh hop flavor, and full palate. I expected another ipa like any other but this is the best new IPA I have tried in a long time. it is considerably better than the 2nd Thread pale ale. Aftertaste is bitter, and I feel a light hop burn. A tropical ipa that is better than Sierra Nevada.

12oz bottle. A pretty respectable IPA, what you wish their regular offerings would taste like. Unfiltered greyed-orange body, thick. Glass lacing thin white head. Kind of drinks like a bigger, yeastier session IPA, there isn’t really a lot of depth of malt or hops. Refreshing, cool, crisp. Mellow for the ABV.

On tap at Muddy Waters. Pours a golden yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines grains, bread, grass and a bit of pine. Flavor starts with grains and bread but finish is more bitter with pine.
