Our unfiltered wheat ale has a pleasant citrus nose with a touch of bready malt character. Red wheat creates a full body and mouth feel.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours Lilly hazy gold with a large, frothy off-white head. The aroma holds very mellow wheat and cereal, with hints of lemon zest. Light sweet flavor with further relaxed wheat, cereal, some lightly tangy lemon nuance, biscuits, dough. Light in body with average carbonation. Reasonably well balanced in the finish, if a bit bland. Quite drinkable but certainly pretty basic.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle with bottled on date April 26, 2012 obtained through trade with JStax poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small fizzy white head that dissapates very quickly. No lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and nice light clove aroma. Taste is estery banana, then an off astrigent lemon, and grainy wheat. One of the worst tasting hefeweizens I have had.

A bodega in a six-pack: Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is light banana and clove. Taste is slightly sour and pretty light. It isn’t exactly watery, but it is hardly substantial. It ain’t bad and works fine as a session methinks.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Spritely lemon aroma. Near med body. Mild banana flavor, but more lemon and a touch of wheat. Crisp and refreshing.

12 oz bottle thanks to Sledutah. I poured into a Weizen glass. I compared this to the Squatters and the Squatters won hands down. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible. Nothing really wrong with it, just nothing that’s gives it any kind of pizazz. Nothing that says, “Drink more of me,” Before Americans brew a “HEFEWEIZEN”. They need to visit Germany.

Pours clear gold into a weizen. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sour wheat aromas. Crisp and watery - some grains.

Pours a bit on the clear side for a Hefe, but it does throw up a nice head and has a good deep yellow color to the body. Malty sweet aroma. A touch of sourness, some light banana. Nice full body.

Courtesy of CigarCityBrew. Pours deep golden with virtually no head. Nice aroma beginning with a wheat note pulsing over grains and some floral hops. Interesting hoppiness for the style. The taste is sessionable thinness of wheat, tartness, some mild sweetness, floral hops and grainy malts. OK for a hot FL (or UT) day.
