(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours dark brown with a small whitish head. Notes of roasted malt with a little burnt sugar, fruity red berries with distinct tartness (especially in flavour), chocolate, vanilla, light coffee, almost a bit of citrus vibe. The burnt sugar/vanilla/choc lends decent sweetness but the balance is towards moderate tartness, semi-dry into the finish. Medium bodied though not super-smooth, soft carbonation. Very fruity overall with the raspberry somewhat taking over the stout, but not in a negative way. Tasty.

[ As Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Raspberry Smoothie ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, vanilla - more like vanilla cream, sweet raspberry, tart raspberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, vanilla - vanilla cream, tart raspberry, chocolate - coffee, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
