Bomber from Brewforia. Pours ruddy and dark with very little beige head. Aromas of smooth roasted malt, dark fruit, a little yeast/spice and a slight, slight hint of banana. Med + body. Flavor is roast malt, but smooth, yeast/spice, and sort of a mixed raisin/banana. It must have a lot of hop cause it’s pretty bitter. Not particularly definable hop tho. Still this is a tasty, drinkable beer, and I’m guessing some real thought was put into this - or someone was very, very lucky. Dry finish to me.

Pours deep bright mahogany into an English pint. Tan head with medium retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to coat surface. Banana, toffee and mild resin aromas. Sweet toffee upfront turning to sour yeasty banana before the lasting bitter resin and grapefruit finish.

Bottle. Dark red pour with thick head, something of a spicy aroma, not much banana. Balanced hop flavour, something like a Belgian pale. Lingering finish.

Bomber. How is it that this beer has only been rated twice so far? I’ve seen it hanging around store shelves, loitering like a wayward daughter for a few months now. Like Brenn79 wrote, I have a 22 oz bottle, not draught only at all, and I’m in Idaho, not back East. I’ll send in a picture. Aroma is full of bananas, as said in the description. It’s also quite a bit earthy, especially after it warms. Pours a hazy amber with a large beige head that falls into a blanket and collar of foam after a couple of minutes, leaving some nice lace. Taste starts out bitter, turns a little sweet and spicy mid-palate and finishes with a lingering bitterness. The Belgian yeast strain is noticeable and juxtaposes with obviously American hops to create an interesting American-Belgo hybrid. Said Belgian yeast imparts a little clove along with the aforementioned banana. Dickhead rises and conquers. Carbonation is average and the body is medium-full. A tasty beer that’s not mindblowingly good, but is pretty "extra special."
