Lightish amber coloured body with some light copper tints. Aroma of pale malt, nuts, a touch of earth and very little else - very mild. Light-bodied; Strong soapy malt flavour with some older malt, a non-existant hop flavour and nothing but perhaps some nuts and earth - pretty bad. Aftertaste shows a hint of light caramel and malt - that’s it. Overall, a pretty bad beer - but that was sadly expected. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 03-February-2013 sampled a day later after a hockey game in Arlington, VA.

Bottle from a Save-Mart. Pours more gold than amber. Small creamy near-white head. Very, very light aroma of caramel. Med body almost. Flavor is light caramel with some sort of light hoppy bitter. The finish is sort of that way. It’s balanced, but there are so few ingredients that that seems inappropriate to evaluate. But it’s way, way ahead of the macro lagers!

12 ounce bottle from Teeter Barracks Road Charlottesville. Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head that fades quickly. Aroma of caramel, nutty notes, floral hops. The taste is caramel, apple-like fruit notes, faint hops. Almost a bit sugary. Thin-medium bodied.
