Sometimes a change in latitude is all it takes to reveal a new path, and Tradewinds Tropical Wheat was brewed to sail. Copious amounts of passionfruit and guava create an aromatic experience of the islands, like a mini-vacation. Enjoy it while it lasts.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a small fizzy off white head and decent retention. No lacing. Strong tropical aroma. The flavor is more pineapple than guava or passionfruit. Tart, dry finish. Sweet, but the wheat base beer help it from being too sweet. Thin body. Not bitter. Very cider-like. A little too tart for my taste.

Yellow gold with a large head that left decent lacing. Perfume, sweetish, a bit chalky with a tropical fruit note. Long finish. Medium body

12 ounce can. Honey gold color. Large frothy beige head settles to a Thin creamy smooth layer. Aroma is guava and passion fruit as advertised. Flavor mostly follows nose with added notes of pineapple and sour apple. Bitter finish and aftertaste.

12 oz. Aroma is like Hawaiian Punch, full of tropical fruit notes. Pours nearly clear golden with a small off-white head with decent retention. Taste is moderately sweet, faintly tart, finishing lightly dry; flavors of tropical fruit, wheat. A little too sweet and one dimensional, but not bad.
