Weird wit, with a medicinal backbone accented by a strong bitterness that never gets balanced out by the orange peel or wheat notes. Tried a lot of wheat ales this week, and this one’s a rough go.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can, April 23, 2019 poured into a glass. Translucent golden with small white head. Aroma is spicy coriander, medium body, lower carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is coriander, pepper, and some orange.

12 oz can. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head and poor retention. No lacing. Has a hefe-like aroma. Tastes like a weak hefe too. Light yeast body with a weak citrus finish. All flavors are very muted. Flat mouthfeel. Bland. Yawn.

Can. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. A big malty phenolic nose. The flavor is toast, lemon, bananas. Smooth.
