Rocky light brown head left a good cover on a near black still body. Dark chocolate & dark spirits aroma. Medium to thin body, spritely over the palate with a clean dry finish. Bitter ithy citrus, under ripe berry, dark chocolate & lactose tastes with a long tangy finish.

12/2/2019. Bottle from Crosby Beer Shop, Merseyside. Pours dark brown with a very small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, hint of coffee and toffee. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Chocolatey fruity finish with a light ashy edge. Easily the best of the 7 I've tried from this brewery.

Bottle courtesy of dad, shared with Dad, Sunday 24th December whilst cooking Chicken Bhuna, Dal Makhani and Tonka Bean Ice Cream. Pours black with a mid sized creamy textured light beige head. Light chocolate, milky and smooth, it's a really tasty and decent stout, a touch of roasty going on, ok a touch thin might be my only criticism but it's only 4.3%. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
