Bottle. A- Bourbon, oak, tangy. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Tangy, earthy, leather, green apple. P- Full body, average texture, medium carbonation, unbalanced finish. O- Strong oak tang, but no coffee or bourbon flavor. Not even getting much of the listed flavor profiles. Fear this has been infected. Unfortunate.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a Trappist glass. Black with small beige head. Aroma is bourbon, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is bourbon, coffee, raisin, soy sauce, some wood, and some booze. Has characteristics of Stout and Belgian beer; interesting, and good beer.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom during the "Dayton Tap Takeover" event on 04/21/2016. Dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of bourbon, coffee and yeast. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, earthy yeast, coffee and malt. The finish is oaky and roasty with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
