Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of very bitter, burnt malts. Some grassy, green hop bitterness too.

ABV: 8.5%. Cloudy dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, malt bitter, dark malt, roasted, burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180125]

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Black pour with beige head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate and caramel, some notes of toffee, medium body, roasted malty finish.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, coffee, chocolate, red berries, herbal hops and roasted notes.Taste is bitter. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying and roasted bitter with dark malts. Nice.

33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a small ran head. Aroma is breadish and toasted malty. Toasted, slight breadish. Dark malty. Breadish, dark malty and roasted. Dry finish.
