12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 7/27/19. This beer has been fucking everywhere and I have finally gotten around to it. Hazy amber, thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of pine and resin hops, toasted grain. Taste is resin, pine, earth, vegetal notes, toffeeish malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Okay.

Bottle sent for review. The beer starts out with a big puffy head, which throws up aromatics of, well, animal dander. That means it’s pretty strong, like the Amarillo hops in, say, Gumballhead. Then there’s a side of lemonade to go along. The body is a cloudy burnished brass color, with some particles visible. Of course, the taste has a tongue-curling bitterness, like chewing on pine needles with a lime rickey chaser. There is caramel or Crystal malt to provide support, which helps mitigate the extra hop aromatics. The finish brings an added bit of cantaloupe for good measure. Another beer with a taste all its own, and not for the faint of heart.

Tap. Pours clear pale orange, large white head, nice lacing. Aroma is very dank, line, melon, hints of cat piss, heavy spruce, juniper. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, hugely pungent, dank. Whoah. Medium light body.

12oz bottle. Filtered dulled orange-copper body. Foamy, glass lacing white head. A pretty solid IPA, displays the new varietal in an interesting fashion. Herbal, spicy, hints of hairspray phenolic. Almost there, drinkable, but not really world class stuff at all.
