2014 version. 12oz can. Filtered amber body. Foamy beige head. Fruitcake cinnamon-ginger-allspice aroma. Big fruit, spice...but I kind of dig it in this one. The malt complements it well enough. Spiced Winter Warmer with some Wee Heavy undertones. Well made, enjoyable for what it is.

Crisp amber coloured body with a thin fast-dying tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, raisins, figs, plums and some toasted malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty and earthy flavour with a lot of pit fruits and some good toffee notes. Aftertaste shows hints of light spices like cloves, nutmeg and canella and only a touch of sweetness - the rest is earthy malt notes. Overall, a nicely spiced beer with perhaps too strong of a malt and earthy flavour. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-November-2013 for US$1.79 sampled at home in Washington on 04-January-2013.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is spiced, herbal and toasted malty. Caramelish, ginger and spiced. Nutmeg. Roasqted malty and light bitter into a malty and spiced finish.
