Can from Honest Brew. Pours near black with small beige head, some retention. Roasted coffee dominates the aroma with hints of vanilla. Taste is roasted coffee, vanilla, lactose, light fruity and grassiness from the hops, some caramel from the malts. Light bodied, slick, moderate carbonation. Its quite a interesting sessionable beer.

Black beer, thin head. Smell is all coffee, lots or coffee up front in the flavour as well, with some chocolate and a little fruit coming through too. Basic but decent.

On tap at the Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Mid- to dark brown, translucent. Thin and eneven layer of beige head on top. Coffe grounds and filter paper in the aroma. Cleaning up after Monday morning... taste is sweet with strong hazelnut notes on top of the coffee. Cigar stub and forest floor notes in the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation. Weird but enjoyable.

Half pint, keg at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Fawn-coloured head, upper part lacing, cloudy dark brown body. Malt driven smell of coffee grounds. Roasted grainy malts with hints of coffee and cocoa. Coffee to the ending as well. Medium bodied. Pleasant to drink. (Manchester 05.02.2019)
