On draught at the brewhouse. Pours a clear copper with an off-white head. Seems to have a chocolaty malt background with barnyard flavor and aroma. Bitter finish. Not what i expected in an alt.

Tap at The Rubicon. Pours clear medium amber with a creamy biege head that did a bit of ring lacing. Light malty aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is light caramel with a little bitter that seems herb/grass. Bitter finish with a light tea flavor note.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Malt and mineral aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with light mineral and light earth. medium bodied. Malt and light caramel lingers with light mineral and light grass.

A copper amber alt with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweetish malt with cinnamon and ginger notes. In mouth, a nice nutty malt with light chocolate and some lactic notes. On tap at brewpub, 27 August 2009.
