Hazy blond color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Pale malt aroma with some earthy and herbal hops. The taste is pale malts, herbal hops, faint toastiness. Thin-medium bodied.

Big 17oz bitch in a brown bottle. First taste is somewhat old lager. Looks a little less hazy than a hefe. Easy going even with old flavors. Rather laid back but enough personalaity to let you know its beer. I’d like to taste thgis fresh. Perhaps they dumped all the old blond witch to the US market, heheh. Some light pilsner bite on the finish.

Bottle from Hi Time. Pours hazy orange amber with a slight, fizzy/creamy off-white head. Aroma is mostly floral, but there’s a suggestion of apricot. Med body. Flavor is immediately light stone fruit, but there’s some florality in the mix. This could well be a fruity ESB. Finishes fruity, and hoppy in the floral sense. It seems quite well balanced. It is delicious.

500 ml bottle. Got from Carl’s Meat Market in Kittery, ME. Funny label. pale, yellow golden body with a thin, white head. No lacing . Aroma is notable floral (somewhat like a dandelion. ) A funky musty aftertaste. What is the deal with brews from England? They are have the same funky, musty aftertaste. Is it the hops?

Bottle from River City Cellars on 02/21/2009. Slightly hazy golden body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet honey and light caramel aroma with some fruity notes. Sweet light caramel flavor, some hoeny and toasty notes, almost cheerios, with a bit of fruity hints and a slight earthy hop finish. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

16.9oz bottle. Cloudy orange tan color. Thin mouthfeel, refreshingly so in a lot of ways. Some mild citrus crispness and a light fruity malt backbone. An all around inoffensive session beer.
