Raspberry Wheat Ale

An American Wheat brewed with a ridiculous amount of Raspberries. A deep red colour with a wonderful aroma and flavour.

473ml can from the lcbo. Hazy pink pour with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet, berry wheat. Nice mouth feel, solid carb. A bright, clean finish a perfect baksnce of semi tart berries and malted wheat.

Pours a cloudy red-pink-peach colour with amber highlights. The head is frothy-bubbly with a white and slight pink, good stay and minimal lacing. Fresh raspberries in the nose with sweet yeast. The taste shows the fruits way milder with the yeast taking over. This means, a little tart on the tongue. A little of the berries does come back in the finish. A pretty good fruity light beer.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy grapefruit colour with a small active white head that fades quickly with just the slightest lace. Nose is raspberry and grains. Light fruity sweetness with a light+ raspberry tartness. Mouth is slightly thin with soft carbonation. Quite nice (but I'm a raspberry fan...) 7/3/7/3/14-

After their stellar XPA I had to grab this beer. Pours a cloudy pink, think guava. Pink-tinted white head. Nice sweet raspberry on the nose. At 4% this session-strength comes off rather thin. Sweet raspberry, up front, chalky wheat malt supporting. I was expecting more esters, or maltiness. This one is a miss for me.
