Crimzen is a small batch brewed, all natural English-style red ale inspired by traditional beer from the United Kingdom. Smooth malt forward English style red ale with apple, caramel, and toffee tasting notes. Crimzen pairs well with smokey, moderately spicy foods like barbecue, smoked bacon, jerk chicken, and chili.

Can from the lcbo. Clear amber pour, small white head. Cheap malts, light caramel, and cheap corny grains. Mouth feel and carb are nice finish is lightly bitter, hints of sweetness, corn, corn syrup, light toffee.... This is pretty miserably. Meh.

This red ale poured a nice amber colour with a big, creamy white head. Nice lacing. Scents include cooked broccoli, malt and antique books. First swig was nice and malty with flavours of honey, caramel and hay. Finish is malty with a light bitterness lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

473mL can, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma is unpleasant, with cabbage, corn, and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of cabbage ruining this. Some toasted malt underneath, but there's no real character here. Bad.

Pours a clean amber colour with a big warm cap, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Grainy cereal malts that gives fruity notes with some hops and very light caramel. The taste is grainy malts as well with the hops creating a little bitterness. Again, caramel base. An easy-going red ale with nothing out of this world, but does the job.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy medium copper with a small lingering off white head. Nose is caramel, grains and some light grass. Flavour is light sweet toffee and a light grassy bitterness. Mouth is oily and thin with soft carbonation and a shoty metallic finish. Underwhelming. 6-/3/5-/3-/10
