12oz bottle pours a clear, copper with some clumpy, white head. Smells like Jameson, just tons of whiskey, malt, cheap rotting coconut meat. Flavor is like rusty razors, tons of booze, cream soda, coconut, vanilla. Boozy finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a murky red-brown body. Off-white head quickly dissipates. At first sip, I’m pretty confident in saying that this is my least favorite in the "goat" series so far. The malts aren’t really thick enough to hold up. Sweet cherry amber malt tones are not my thing in the first place, and they are sort of redundant with the whiskey barrels tones. On the other hand, there is some rich leathery depth, and it is fun and unique. The malts finish light and sweet, the barrel finishes heavy and rich. Odd, worth a try.

This is the July selection in Elevator’s "PHD" program. The beer pours a dark copper-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates to a wispy film quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and bourbon. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet caramel malt and subtle oaky bourbon and a hint of hops. The finish is malty with an oaky aftertaste. Decent barrel aged version of Bleeding Buckeye overall.
