12oz.bottle.$2 @ Ray’s, Wauwautosa. Time to break from another lull in my job search. Pour, in a shaker, is yellowish amber, clean looking with big bubbles supporting a foamy head. Smell is rather light on beer. I had a whiff of hop when I pooped the crown, but it’s gone. That claimed touch of honey seems a bit overboard, adding sweetness that should not be needed. It drinks easily enough, and I can at least get a hint of oats among the Wisconsin grains used, but none of the ingredients really has a chance to shine.

12oz bottle. Thin, hazy, yellowish orange-tan. Thin, but respectable head. Mellow malty aroma, a touch of butter. Grainy mouthfeel, medium bodied. The hops have neither citrus flavors nor pleasant aromatic nuances, but still manage to balance it out with a bitter spiciness. A little brutal, kind of like a tweaked out macro swill beer. I don’t really get much honey, would have attributed any slight flavors to the adjuncty grain bill had I not known better. A session beer at best, not recommended.
