Red raspberry color, fruit candy aroma. Yeast imparts a flavor is similar to to Hefeweizen but with a sweetart berry taste and alcohol burn like a Tripel. Spicy, clove-like finish. A lot going on.

Fruit overload. Enjoyable but in no way balanced. Unfiltered orange-pink-red. Steady head. Forward raspberry and fruit tones. Lots of fruit flavor, but just lacks balance. A fresh beast of a fruit beer.

Brewgrass 2009 Amber with a smallish head. Fruity nose, some cherry/berry. The flavor reminds me of a washed out Lindemann’s Framboise. A bit thin, needs a touch more of everything to bring this one all the way.

Growler at Peter’s NY gathering - lightly hazy reddish brown - man, this tastes like raspberry cough syrup mixed with some wheaty character and light belgian-ish phenols - quite sweet, adding to the syrupy character that reminds me of cough medicine - blah.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear light red color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is tart cherry and raspberry. Taste is sweet cherry, pineapple and bitter hops. No alcohol noticeable. Medium-full bodied.
