Perfectly clear and copper coloured body with a very thin off-white head on top. Aroma of grain, caster sugar, light fruit, malt and some subdued fruit. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Stale and horribly cardboardie malt flavours dominate at first with a grassy and herbal note, but more of the funky and off-tasting malts than anything else with a lot of the fruit-based or fake caster sugar notes that don't leave quickly. Aftertaste shows the funky and odd fruit-based sweetness and malt notes and a touch of the grassy and citrusey perhaps 'hop' characteristics that shows no bitterness, just some funk and a touch of complexity on the sweetness front. Overall, a pretty bad beer overall with no depth or flavours in the realm of anything close to a Pale Ale or with hops added, but this is funky and yeastie, bready and too simplistic altogether. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 28-November-2018 for US$1,00.

Gold Color, Huge Foamy Head, Decent Thin Lacing. Initial Pour Has A Light Hop Scent, that becomes a Faint Sour Funky Aroma. Reminds me of Sorghum. Sweet First Sip Impression Immediately Followed By Sour Taste. From there on you no longer get that sweetness but wheat like acidic citrus sourness instead. Light Hop taste is hidden somewhere under that sourness. It’s a miss for style. It’s a mediocre brew overall. Drinkable but not really enjoyable. Another sign that good and bad things in life always balance out..Thanks to Slava for a Free Gift. I was really excited to get something that I haven’t tried already.Too Bad, it is not that good. Pass It...

Bottle pour into shaker. Light, hazy yellow; small quick fading head; heavy, continuing carbonation. Big, flowerly aroma that is somewhat pleasant on the nose, but is not so good when it hits the palate. Like some other reviewers, I am not sure why the label suggests it is hoppy; it is not. This tastes light like a 4.2 ABV. Nothing wrong with this beer; it is drinkable. But I would rather choose something else.

Bottle at Cactus Club. Filtered yellow-tan. Thin white head. Buttery up front. Buttery malt aroma, some mild hop tones. Unimpressive, mostly butter flavor. Watered down IPA/APA. Not outright bad, just dumbed down...in an offensive manner. Some piny resin in the aroma. BLAND. Demands a rerate to numerically smash it..

A golden APA with a thin white head. In aroma, a strange sulfury piney hops, unpleasant, bodily gases. In mouth, a strange piney hops over faint caramel malts, bizarre sulfury notes, spruce, a bit strange. Bottle at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 21 2012.

From Matt at 3R6P. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left some lacing. The aroma was moderate pine, citrus and faint catbox, spruce and lemon. The flavor was piney and citric with moderate dry perfume and undertones of yeast and catbox. The finish was long, dryish and perfumey. Medium body. Eh.
