Tap at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Great beer. Light wood notes throughout, lots of grapefruit, restrained alcohol character. Modest woody dryness rounds out the resinous and piney hops. It’s sweet, but not sugary. Good stuff.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Oak and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with summer fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light malt and light oak.

On tap at the Bistro BA festival. Pours clear copper with little head. Smells like pale ale on oak. Flavor is mild caramel with hop and oak. It’s like an IPA. The oak astringency adds a nice touch.
