12 ounce bottle, 3/31/15. Hazy orange, fine dark floating particles, thin creamy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, biscuit malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, a weird twangy note, pale malt, sawdust. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Bottle in CT shared with the sibs during Upwords. Pours hazy, deep gold with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma holds earthy, herbal hops and toasted grains. Light to medium sweet flavor with lots of toasted malt, bread, grains, resinous and herbal hops, pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Piney and resinous on the finish, with further grainy malts. OK.

Clear deep gold with a sticky white head. Citrus hop aroma, caramel. The flavor is slightly bitter, well balanced by the malts. I’d like to see a little more of both malt and hops and perhaps add some body to this to so that it can run in faster company.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates slowly and laces beautifully and thickly. Aroma has some light fruits with a strong bread backbone and a good amount of grains as well. Flavor is full of bread as well with a slight light citrus note and a hint of pine.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber with a slight foamy white head. Aroma of light roast malt. Mayhap a bit of florality. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is bitter. Mostly floral with a touch of citrus. Resin? Not to me. What is good here? It’s bitter. It’s bitter. Nice ale.
