On tap at The Lifeboat Margate. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate cake raspberry aroma. Sponge cake chocolate flavour. Some red fruit flavour too. Some bitterness too. Decent. Would be better on cask. Good chocolate and raspberry

Keg at the cock tavern. Black coloured pour with a lasting fine tan head. Aroma is is nice earthy choc, berries, cranberry, woody choc, powdered chocolate. Palate is medium full, light creamy, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of od semi sweet, choc, tangy dark cherry, dark chocolate, powdered chocolate. Nice stuff.

Keg at The Cock Tavern. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich dark chocolate notes, black forest gateaux vibes, not overly sweet, coffee grounds, toasted brown sugar and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, quite smooth, coffee, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate cake, cacao nib, cherry, touch of umami and cracked black pepper with a soft, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavoursome and well balanced. Very nice stuff.
