Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours black-brown with a frothy, mocha cap that fades away efficiently. Lightly tangy dark fruits in the nose, hints of cocoa, background roast, some raspberry. Medium sweet flavour with further subtly tangy berry notes, some bittersweet chocolate, moderate roast. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine, massaging carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, minimal warmth, some sticky chocolate accents, cherry and raspberry, baking cocoa. Overall, solid. Nicely layered and rather drinkable.

330ml bottle. Pours almost black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark fruits, berries, chocolate. Taste is the same, roast malts, chocolate, berry fruits, a little coffee, moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, soft carb. Kinda wish this was a little more intense.

Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, sun earthy coffee and a trace of bitter dark chocolate. Some tangy fruits, no real clear cherry vibe here. Smooth dry finish. Mild bitter linger. It's ok, but doesn't really nail the concept, nowhere near sweet or cherry enough. A bit of a disappointment overall.
