Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of lemon, while the flavor is purely acidic with notes of lemon - must be off. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

12oz shorty bottle. Cloudy orange-yellow color, lots of CO2 bubbles lead to a thin white head. Brewery sweet malt aroma. I get some wheaty banana in the first taste, not unlike a filtered-down Hefe. There is, however, some noble hopping that balances it out and leaves it just barely in Pilsnerville. The body is certainly thicker than your typical Pils. Fresh and doughy, this is still an enjoyable beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of pepsican. Pours a very hazy pale golden with a small white head. Tart and citrusy nose. Light-bodied with notes of citrus and an astringent and sourish finish. Clearly infected. 180808

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and grainy aroma. Solid acidic and citric flavour with a tart orange fruity note. Not as intended I assume. Citric and orange fruity finish.

Bottle from Degarth. Pours a hazy pale lemon yellow. Nice. Slightly bitter, slightly sweet very faint aroma. Not much bitterness in this pilsner. Very malty, a little vegetal, and with a subtle up front flowery and fruity hop taste. Pretty nice.

Just arrived this morning from a trade with iowaherkeye, Thanks Joey, my first Iowa beer! Grainy ricy nose like a pale lager, I was worried! Bubbly gold with a large white head; Decent yaesty malt taste, not what I expected with the aroma; a pleasnat surprize!

Thanks to heemer77 for this one! Picture perfect Pilsner here. Tall column of brilliantly clear medium yellow under a frothy white head. Clean light malt aroma. The flavor is well balanced, lightly sweet yet restrained with just enough hops. Finishes clean and refreshing as a good Pilsner should with no bad aftertastes.

Re-rated. My second bottle causes me to bump this up a few points, especially since I got around to rating these bottles past their due dates, and Millstream doesn't pasteurize or filter their bottled product (one can tell from the small particles of grain husk floating around. This second bottle was much better than the first. Poured in a recommended pilsener glass, it kicked up a nice head, firm as a root beer float's. Good Czech hop character is also much more apparent. This one held its flavor through to the end, and I'm glad to give it a second opinion.
Bottled. Rather ordinary, I thought. A rocky head with some lacing, different for a pilsener. Appropriate golden body. Malt taste was overly sweet, but at least not saccharine, with no real hop balance to it. The mouthfeel falls somewhat flat at the end. A somewhat milky aftertase.
